Jerry Densow’s talk at Morning Star on Nov 5, 2023

Jerry Densow has been meditating since 1969. In 1975 he met his Sat Guru Audle Allison, and he has been living and breathing the teachings of the Kriya and Lamplighting lineages as taught by Audle ever since. Over the years Jerry has become a master teacher in his own right, seamlessly weaving together these two meditation lineages. Jerry studied directly with Audle Allison for thirteen and a half years, until Audle’s death in 1988. During this time, Audle worked closely with Jerry, almost weekly, to help him develop the wisdom and skills needed to follow in his footsteps. Before Audle died he asked Jerry to carry on his work and teachings. It was at Audle’s request that Jerry established his own school, Mountain Institute, Inc., which he founded in 1989. For over 33 years Jerry has been a devoted student and teacher, carrying on Audle’s work with an undying enthusiasm that echoes the passion of his beloved teacher. He says he will continue to learn, grow, and serve until he is no longer able.

Jerry will share with us how he helps his students travel the path to enlightenment through the various classes offered at the Mountain Institute in Montrose, Colorado. How he supports his students in their efforts to master the various meditation techniques that allow them to access transcendent states of consciousness. Why it is important to have a living guru (teacher) who can “light your lamp”, as well as the impact this “initiation” can have on a person’s spiritual development from one lifetime to the next.
